The Pharos Beyond Images Short Film Festival (PBISFF) – Eleusis International Film Festival announces that Kimon Karakos is taking over as President of the festival.
Having previously served as the Festival’s Vice President of Strategy & Communication, and having played an active role in its strategic development, communication identity, institutional partnerships and international outreach, Kimon Karakos now assumes the Presidency of PBISFF. This marks the continuation of a shared journey, with even greater responsibility and prospects.

His path is also linked to volunteering and social contribution, as well as to music and audiovisual creation. These elements complete a career marked by a strong interest in culture, creativity and outward-looking engagement.
PBISFF was founded by director and screenwriter Michalis Tigiridis, who also serves as the Artistic Director of the festival. With Kimon Karakos taking over the Presidency, the Festival continues its course with a shared vision to develop further, broaden its partnerships and strengthen its footprint in Greece and internationally.

We wish Kimon Karakos every success in his new role.
